Why Don’t We Have Our Own Pay Site?

Why Don’t We Have Our Own Pay Site?

One of the ways that an amateur couple can go about earning some money and indulge in their exhibitionist streak is to run their own web site. There several ways to go about doing this and we do get into this in more detail in another post, so check that one out if you’re curious.

Some examples of couples with their own sites are the Art of the Blowjob, Camilla’s homevids, and Carol Cox.

Frankly, if you do it right, you can earn a lot of money. Some of our viewers and some of the people that people we know in the homemade porn community ask us why we don’t have our own membership site. It’s a natural question: if we enjoy filming and posting our amateur sexual exploits  and if we don’t have any qualms selling our content to websites, why would we not want to have our own website? You know, to cut out the middle man.

The reason is simple, but has several different motivations behind it.

  • We’re not sure if we could or would want to create enough content each month to justify having our own site.

When Brad got his horny little hands on his first digi-cam one of the first things that he wanted to do was to take some naughty pictures and videos. It was fun and a turn on….but not all the time. After awhile I had to tell Brad to put the camera down when we were making love. It’s fun to capture the moment, but not ALL THE TIME. I enjoy our intimate moments without the camera too and Brad understood that.

  • We’d rather just let it come naturally, not fuck to a pre-planned time plan.

Although we sometimes do plan our little porn video shoots, we usually don’t. It’s nice to be spontaneous…like blowjobs in the car or making love while hiking and we don’t want to give up that spontaneity or have the pressure of “having” to make videos for the site.

  • We’d rather not mix business and pleasure.

Running a website is really a business. You have to figure out how to get money form your subscribers, how to bill them monthly, how to ensure that the site is up and active all the time, ensure that you’re getting enough people paying for the content to cover the costs and turn a profit, to name just a few of the many things you have to consider. Since the website (business) would be build around our sex lives, it might just lead to some stressful situations and problems that we’d rather not deal with.

So there you have it. We do enjoy creating and making money with our homemade porn but we’re not interested in taking it past the hobby stage. Just remember, this is our personal decision. What’s not right for us might fit perfectly to you, so if you’re really interested in learning more about starting this kind of business, check out some of our “DIY Tips” about it.

To get the start up captial for mine and Kenneth’s site. I have been doing cam work for an old friend and almost lover from when I was 15. He’s so far invested $110 into Fiery Pheniox Productions. I’ve done full body shots and just got done a little while ago with a self pleasure scene. I live with my parents so he’s like get down before you get caught. I love the adrenaline rush and the rest of the chemicals.
